Bill O'Reilly threatening our sponsor JetBlue and comparing the DailyKos to the KKK and the Nazi party are vile acts of dishonesty that are the hallmarks of Bill O'Reilly's career in broadcast TV. But nothing is going to stop YearlyKos from hosting the greatest convention ever. We are disappointed that JetBlue pulled their logo, but only because our experiences teach us that backing down from O'Reilly only makes things worse. This morning the Clinton campaign made a statement refuting allegations made by a recent episode of The O'Reilly Factor and reiterating that the Senator is looking forward to attending the event to participate in the Leadership Forum.

YearlyKos Convention 2007 welcomes the online political community, or Netroots, to Chicago on August 2-5, 2007. Participants include national leaders, bloggers, representatives from government and progressive organizations, and regular citizens.

The recent allegations made by the FOX Network and its representatives are rooted in a broad misunderstanding of YearlyKos' mission and the nature of the blogosphere.

After that, we will accept no more registrations, except at the door at what will be a higher price.

I am pleased to tell you that eBay has reinstated the YearlyKos account, and we will restart the June YearlyKos eBay Auction Fundraiser on Friday evening, June 29th. Unlike previous auctions this will be a three day only auction! The auction will end on Monday evening, July 2nd. Because of the extremely short time before the auction begins, we will not be accepting any new items.
