For all the latest Convention news, turn to our website, where all the info below is always available should you lose this handy dandy newsletter. Who will be officially blogging from the heart of the scene? MEEEE!! Trust me to keep you informed of all the hottest news and breaking stories. Everything that's not fit to print! :)
2. WIFFITI
Use Wiffiti (www.yearlykosconvention.org/wiffiti) to give us a live shout-out on the big screens here at the Convention! Just text "@ykos hello" to 25622. See what others are saying, too! I love the smell of eavesdropping in the morning...
In our main ballroom area, we’ll be projecting poll questions and Wiffiti screens onstage in between speakers. Follow the onscreen instructions to submit your response via mobile phone. Not all carriers may work with the system, and you must have text message capability on your phone. Depending on your plan, your carrier may charge you for each message sent and received.
-For the polls: text @poll and then your poll selection choice to 25622. For example: @poll a
-For the Wiffiti screen, text @ykos followed by your comment to 25622. For example: @ykos hello Chicago

6. YKSL
The YearlyKos Convention in Second Life (YKSL) will stream video of keynotes and let you attend breakout sessions where you can watch speakers in real time and submit questions to them, just as if you were in Chicago!
We'll also have panels that take place exclusively in Second Life. We'll have hospitality suites, an exhibit hall and meet-up areas for you to sit down, virtually, with the friends and allies you've made.

Mucho Media Coming to YKC 07!
Are you ready for your close-up?
Mounds of media will be converging on our Convention! TV, radio, print, satellite and online media hounds are chasing our foxy gathering across the digital countryside.
CNN, C-SPAN, Sirius, Posts and Times, Journals and journalists will be hunting for that ultimate scoop. Might you be interviewed? Possibly photographed? Of course! So take a deep breath, face your good side forward, and tell the world how amazing YKC is and how truly, utterly satisfied you are.
Or else! (Kidding.) Of course kidding. For those of you coming to Chi-Town, you'll be making mad dashes to panels through microphone jungles and camera-flash strobe lights. For those of you staying chez vous, catch cameos of your fave friends: "Don't be silly, Fabio, I'm sure no one noticed all that spinach in your teeth!"

Certain YKC Seminars Require Sign-Up
The majority of the sessions at the YearlyKos Convention are open to anybody who wants to attend. However, due to limited space and fear of crowding, a few seminars will have limited access registration.
If you want to sign up for these seminars, you'll need to log into the registration system that you used when you registered for the Convention. If you remember them, your username and password will be the same, but if you've forgotten your password (tsk, tsk), you can reset it.
Once you've logged in, you'll be presented with a list of the available sessions, their times and locations. Just click the "SIGN UP" link next to a session and have at it. First come, first serve, so don't dilly dally!

It is beeaautiful here in Chicago! Warm, sunny weather, and our hotel is pretty sleek! You'll love it here. A far cry, for sure, from our beloved Riv. (Cue "The Jeffersons" theme music...)
